My love for photography started when my Grandfather gave me his Minolta SLR camera in 1999. He and my Grandma had traveled the world with that camera and I remember sitting through the slides of their vacations. That camera saw several continents and it really catapulted my photography future. I was signed up for classes at the local community college and began learning all about film, darkrooms, and the art behind photography. I shot my first wedding in 2000 for a friend as just a guest and I was hooked.

I graduated and moved to Tucson in 2001, where I continued to study photography at the University of Arizona, and began building a photography business... SunStreet Photo. I've always had a dream of opening up a modern photography studio and in 2010 I opened up our Urban-Chic studio located in the historic Firestone building in the heart of Tucson. We have recently moved to our new location in central Tucson.
I've built one of the best high school photography programs in the state, and I strongly believe the teacher makes all the difference no matter what you're learning. I've designed the classes to make photography easy to learn for all ages. I think you'll really enjoy our style of teaching.
